About the academy
The Harrogate Marshalls is a junior basketball academy open to players from as young as Year 2 all the way through to 13. Named in memory of Richard Marshall — a beloved figure in the local community — the academy was founded to give young players in Harrogate access to quality basketball coaching without having to travel to Leeds or York.
We welcome players of all abilities. Whether your child has never picked up a basketball or is already playing competitively, there's a place for them here.
Sessions are held at Ashville Sports Centre and King James School, Harrogate. Ages are based on school year as of September 2026.
